Falcon Pilot MK3 Temparate boot The Falcon Pilots Boot Mk 3 is the third generation of Altberg pilots boot, the Mk 3 boot has improved lace stowage and reduced seams around the foot to decrease snagging or catching in the cockpit. In 2016 we were approached by B.A.E. (British Aerospace Engineers) about the possible development of a pilot/aircrew boot. Their requirements included compatibility with both aircraft cockpit as well as air crew pressure suits. Our aircrew/pilots boots have been independently tested using ISO and BSEN test methods, and for some specific areas of aircraft and pressure suit compatibility we were supported by B.A.E. Some key features of our range of aircrew boots are sole - zero debris pick up snag free upper design resistance to aircraft fuels and solvents flame resistant soft leather upper Upper 1.8mm Nida Hydro full grain soft supple leather Midsole Specifically developed aircrew midsole - flexible forefoot, combined with torsional resistance, waist and heel polypropelene Sole Specifically developed aircrew sole - Non debris pickup, aircraft fuel, oil and solvent resistant Flexible forefoot with 'feel through' for the pedals Heel dimensions and design to be compatible with rudder pedals Weight 670gms (size 9) Mass of boot kept within limits to ensure compatibility with overall aircrew AEA.
